Teleco to exhibit at the Birmingham fair
Teleco has been participating at the NEC trade fair in Birmingham - one of the most important for all European campers - for some years now. This year the Lugo-based company will be out in force with a 90m2 stand where Magic Sat, Voyager and Wing satellite antennas will be on show. Telair will also be there, of course, and visitors will have the opportunity to take a close look at the new Silent 7300 H with heat pump and our range of gas, diesel and petrol generators. |

European producers optimistic about growth in 2006
According to an opinion poll commissioned by the German camper association CIVD, the leisure vehicle market will continue to grow this year too. The survey states that 69 % of interviewees expect camper sales to increase in Germany, while 31% predict stable sales. With regard, instead, to the Caravan segment, the rise will be more contained. Only 25%, in fact believe that sales will increase, while 38% think sales will stay at the same level; 37% forecast a slight dip in sales. |

The new Teleco headquarters
Bearing in mind the enormous success achieved over the last few years, Teleco has decided to extend its Lugo di Romagna site, effecting all-round architectural restyling. The site will thus include the currently operative production plant. To maximise workflow flexibility at both national and international level the plant features extensive floor space with open-plan design From an architectural standpoint three basic rules have been observed:
1) Respect for the heavily-industrialised surrounding environment
2) Careful design of the overall complex to ensure that the diversity of its component elements maintains a harmony with the architectural style of the surrounding area.
3) Continuity of the office zone to allow smooth connection between the offices without creating obstacles or interruptions. To do this it was necessary to de-centralise the main company entrance with the reception and the waiting room. The new factory building will have a surface area of 7000 m2 and the work is expected to be completed by mid-November of this year. |
