Over two hundred thousand leisure vehicles sold in Europe
This, then, was the result achieved by the camping and leisure industry in 2005. Up until just a few years ago this was still an “alternative” way of spending vacation time: now it’s one of the most popular and fastest-growing leisure choices. New statistics issued by the Frankfurt-based ECF confirm the positive market trend and also highlight the outstanding quality of the products at the disposal of the final user. Overall leisure vehicle sales were up by 2% compared to the previous year. With campers, the increase was 7.3% (that’s over 78,500 vehicles!), while the number of caravans sold was 121,500, a slight drop of 1.1% compared to 2004. |

Installers' courses at Teleco
Over the coming weeks at Teleco’s head offices in Lugo di Romagna, company partners Mr. Vittorio Simioli and Mr. Raul Fabbri will, together with a team of qualified technicians, be starting multi-lingual courses for installers.
Since Teleco/Telair products are sold in just about all European countries, every year Teleco organises installers’ courses in Italy, Germany and France.
Continuous investment in proper installers skills once again underlines the international free training commitment to technicians entrusted with the important task of fitting Teleco and Telair products.
Some twenty training and updating courses are organised every year in the following languages: Italian, German, French and English. |

SCART STICK: the pocket DVB mini-receiver
The introduction of terrestrial digital TV is now just around the corner and Teleco is, of course, more than ready to provide the European market with a receiver for the dozens of television programs already available in this format. Super-compact, the receiver is no bigger than a cigarette packet – just perfect for camper owners looking to install digital terrestrial on their vehicles.
This characteristic means the receiver can be carried on the vehicle without having to worry about space: it can even be fitted in the corner of a drawer!
Another big advantage, for all those camper owners who have already fitted an omni-directional WING2 antenna, is that this receiver can be connected to the DVB Scart-Stick mini receiver simply and directly.
This Teleco antenna, in fact, is supplied ready for reception of this type of TV signal. |
