European leisure vehicle market continues to grow
The first quarter of this year saw the booming European leisure vehicle market continue to soar, with German manufacturers leading the field thanks to a strong "Made in Germany" export performance.
This info comes from a press release issued by CIVD. Compared to the first four months of 2005 German exports, in fact, grew by 25%, increasing from 4,420 to 5,527 units.
New European-wide camper registrations by ECF for the first quarter totalled 21,210: that's an increase of 3.7%.
As far as new leisure vehicle sales are concerned, France leads the way with 5,447 units, followed by Italy with 4,930, Germany with 4,557 and the UK with 2,170. |

Teleco attends the Motorhome meeting in France
France's biggest Camper and Leisure magazine invited Teleco to one of the most important events of the year: the 9th European Camping festival.
According to a statement issued by the organisers' the event attracted over five thousand visitors and two thousand motorhomes!
