Safety devices boost leisure vehicle sales
All the safety-enhancement efforts made by European leisure vehicle makers over the last few years have resulted in a highly positive sales trend.
The introduction of ABS, airbags, a new generation of seat belts and electronic stabilisation systems for campers and caravans have all played a key role in attracting potential new campers.
Confirmation of the trend has been supplied by CIVD, Germany ’s largest camper association, which, on the basis of statistics from the Ministry of Transport, has highlighted that the number of accidents involving leisure vehicles has dropped sharply over the last three years. |

Magic Sat Super Digital GPS Skew: the antenna that thinks for itself!
Electronic device for varying the LNB polarisation angle (Skew). On-TV display of terrestrial coordinates via the GPS system. Control unit and receiver incorporated in a single box. 5000 channels stored on memory.
This new version features an integrated GPS system that allows fully automatic optimisation of the LNB polarisation angle according to the country where the camper is located; consequently, the user no longer has to rotate the LNB manually, a task that can sometimes damage the antenna or cause it to malfunction.
The GPS system also allows the position coordinates of the vehicle to be displayed on the TV screen every time the Magic Sat Super Digital GPS Skew is activated. |
