German exports booming
Despite a slight drop in the performance of the German home market over the last few months, partly due to higher VAT, German manufacturers of leisure vehicles continue to enjoy excellent health thanks to booming exports.
Overall sales, in fact, increased by 10%, rising from 5.09 billion Euros in 2006 to 5.59 billion in 2007.
Camper sales increased by 26% (22,653 vehicles) while caravan sales improved by 1.4% (41,393 caravans).

Teleco at the Birmingham fair
From 19th to 24th February 2008 Teleco SpA was, as is now the custom, exhibiting at the NEC, Britain’s most important camping and touring fair.
During the six-day event Telair products aroused plenty of interest among visitors; one of the firm favourites was the Silent 7300 H with heat pump, while, as regards Teleco, the Magic Sat and the new Flat Sat Easy proved highly attractive.
Moreover, the co-director of the Telecogroup announced that, as of this year, the Lugo di Ravenna-based company will also be attending in the November edition of the Birmingham fair.
