CAMP-CHALLENGE

Campchallenge with Teleco

It’s the second day. As already explained, there’s a lot to do, the vehicles have to be prepared for the boarding in Bremerhaven.
We all have to ask ourselves the same two important questions: what can be stored in the suitcases? and what can be left in the vehicles?
Because, as a matter of fact, we have to give up our rolling homes for a longer time than we previously planned. Our ship will reach Baltimore, on the American East Coast, only on the 19th day, on June 24th, according to the plan.
It is forbidden to bring any kind of food to the States. Not even cans or spices are allowed.
For this reason it is also necessary to empty water tanks and boilers completely.
And of course no gas must be left in the bottles during the journey. You should also avoid to leave worthy stuff and documents in wardrobes and drawers.
The following formalities look uncomplicated to our utmost surprise.
The forms concerning the vehicles will be completed by friendly colleagues. At about midday we enter together the safe port and punctually at 2 o’clock PM a bus takes us to Hamburg, according to the plans, where our flight will take off the day after tomorrow, on Monday, due to New York!

Teleco homepage : software upgrades

Teleco’s technical department has inserted a link for software upgrades.
With regard to the Magic Sat Easy satellite antenna three search criteria have been published, two for per Europe and one for Australia and New Zealand.
There are also four communication software tools to load search criteria and interfacing via the USB port.
For the Neptune 6000 nautical antenna, instead, a single operating code load file has been inserted.
Software upgrades for the TSDR 5000 CI receiver and the Magic Sat Super Digital are provided on a single file.
To complete the page there are service lists to create a personal TV/radio programme folder and, finally, a series of communication software tools for loading of the operating code and service lists.
