Frequency variation on HotBird 13°E

As of 30th December 2008 a series of frequencies from the HotBird13E satellite have been modified by the satellite manager.

One of these was in the Easy Sat memory with the d03 database version and as a result the tracking system was no longer able to receive the HotBird 13°E satellite signal.

The modified frequencies were for TPS (a French broadcaster), which had been taken over by CanalSatellite (another French broadcaster); following the takeover there was a reorganisation of frequencies transmitted by Eutelsat Communications, the owner of the HotBird 13°E satellite.

We therefore wish to inform our customers that this error is not to be attributed to the antenna but, rather, the satellite manager.

On the right-hand side of the www.telecogroup.com home page (Italian version) there is a link that allows you to download a PDF document containing the software upgrade instructions, which were published a few months ago.

Sinusoidal inverter TE 1500 SI AC

Teleco GmbH, in collaboration with a major German company, has developed a new, innovative inverter for the operation of 12 V equipment items.

This product offers a series of features designed to make life even more convenient for holidaymakers as they tour in their leisure vehicles.
When the vehicle is stationary, the inverter powers all the appliances at 230 V up to a maximum power of 1500 W via the 12 V current provided by the service battery.

The TE 1500 SI-AC sinusoidal inverter can support the high breakaway starting current present on most 12 V air conditioners and, if the current produced by the alternator (min. 90 h) is sufficient, higher-power conditioners such as the Silent 5300 H with heat pump can also be run.

Within just a few seconds of the Silent 5300 H being switched on the inverter recognises the load power and on-board power - and does so as long as it is running, thus ensuring optimal system regulation and preventing any electronics overloads.
The duration of air conditioner operation depends the service battery capacity (min 100 Ah).
